The Perpedes C801 is an acrylic composite material made of woven carbon fiber and knitted polyamide. The composite material consists of a transparent, thermoplastic acrylic resin as a matrix and reinforcements made from carbon fibers and polyamide.

In woven materials, as the Perpedes C801, the reinforcing fibers are in a stretched condition. They therefore undergo less expansion under higher tensile loads than knitted materials and have high tensile strength and rigidity.
